Kittanning Council Meeting - March 3, 2008

Did anybody see that last Kittanning Council Meeting. Wow, that Shuster really came down on that poor lady pretty good. He seems like a real arrogant fellow. He must have been watching FCs meetings and wanted to out do them.
By the way, FCs meeting was tame until the very end when that chick got up and did her little act.

"Of course it is happening inside your head, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

I didn't see it, do they show them online? I thought I heard they did but I had searched a while back & couldn't find anything.

I was there.
What would be nice is if a Borough Council member would take Noelle Simmons around town and introduce her to the 'Roast Beef' guys and the 'Chicken' guys and 'Frozen Yogurt' guys who have been long-time participants in the Folk Festival.
OR just sit down with her and go over a list of vendor names, who the people are, where they work, etc. I've talked to Buzz Kline at Flynn's Tire, Barb Klukan at Kittanning News, etc. re Armstrong Habitat for Humanity business. It helps a lot to have a way to contact them person to person.

Goal: to make tourism of SWPA one of the best family vacations in America for 2008. Kickoff: April 17th in Kittanning at the War Memorial Wall. If successful, we will make a big splash on national TV and enjoy financial rewards in the future. For all our neighborhoods, please pray for success.

I believe since Noelle Simmons has been assisting the direction of the Festival for some time now, she is well aware of businesses in town and "the chicken guy, roast beef guy -which is/was a Festival run booth up until last year, and the yogurt people". To become a vendor in any capacity, there is an application process. Specifically, Shuster has some sort of personal problem with the Festival, it is unfortunate that he can't put his ego asside and direct Kittanning in a positve direction.
